In 2006, we created a range of contemporary blinds specifically called Ecoshade. These blinds were subsequently featured on Mitre 10 Dream Home which created a huge amount of interest in our range and the brand has gone from strength to strength since then.

Aside from producing contemporary, quality blinds, the meaning behind our name is our commitment to continaully refining and improving our product to reduce the environmental impact and longer term sustainability of our home and furnisings.

We can do this by using good quality blinds to reduce solar heat gain which minimises cooling costs in the summer plus reducing thermal heat loss, effectively minimising heating costs in the winter. Using our blinds (especially the sunfilter range) will also help to significantly reduce UV fading and damage to carpet and furnishings, helping your interior assets to last longer ie. fewer replacements means fewer items going to the landfill or recycling.

As a business, we  work tirelessly to reduce our own environmental impact. We seek out materials that are sustainable or recycleable, we minimise waste wherever possible by re-using or recycling (such as packaging materials). We drive smaller more efficent cars, we use technology to help us manage out business (less paper, pens and other materials) and we work together to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible.
